I’ve been waiting to write a new entry on our new and exciting direction: we just closed on 20 acres of land!! Waiting I guess to have spectacular pictures or something, and it definitely shows its granduer in many of the pictures I have gotten in the tremendous smiles on the faces!! We invited some family out to play and wore everyone out including the dogs. Here are a few of the photos:
Taylor, Morgan and their cousin Eric who celebrates his birthday just a few weeks earlier than Morgan:
Levi couldn’t have enjoyed this more:
Our beautiful view of God’s artwork:
And finally…. after a hard day of play…
One day we won’t have to load up in the car anymore to go "home"!!! YEA!!
So today it’s back to schoolwork. We have lots of new and exciting things to research today, starting with which Native Americans lived on the land we now call home after Taylor and Eric found arrowheads. We have also already searched out some of the wildlife that lives there, but especially the black panther since our neighbor told us about an eight foot panther he followed through the area, and Morgan spotted some extremely LARGE cat prints near the pond that fit the description. We will take plaster next time to cast all of the prints we found.
OOOO what a fun new adventure!!
